Joining the Pioneer Ridge PTO is a fantastic way to show your support for our students, staff, and families. We offer regular volunteer opportunities that fit a variety of interests and schedules. Whether you contribute through fundraising, volunteer at after-school clubs, or simply send coffee for the staff lounge, your involvement makes a real difference. Together, we create amazing programs and events that benefit the entire Pioneer Ridge Elementary community. Thank you for being a part of our team!

Our PTO meetings will be the second Tuesday of each month starting September 10 at 3:45 in the library with childcare included!

Attend Monthly PTO Meetings: Start by attending PTO meetings to understand the organization’s needs, ongoing projects, and upcoming events

Check out the PTO Newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram Pages: Look for volunteer opportunities posted on the PTO’s website or in their newsletter. Many PTOs regularly update these platforms with current needs.

Join a Committee: Committees are a great way to get involved. Examples include fundraising, event planning, communications, and hospitality. Choose one that aligns with your interests and skills.

Volunteer for Events or In-School Activities: Sign up to help with PTO-sponsored events such as birthday books, snack cart, fundraising drives, or teacher appreciation activities.

Offer Your Skills: If you have specific skills (e.g., graphic design, photography, accounting), offer these to the PTO. Specialized skills can be very valuable.

Participate in Fundraisers: Assist in organizing, promoting, or managing fundraisers. This could involve anything from selling products to helping at events.

Engage in Classroom Support: Occasionally, we help organize classroom support activities. Volunteer to help in classrooms by reading to students, assisting with projects, or organizing materials.
Provide Feedback: After events or projects, give constructive feedback to the PTO to help improve future activities.

The PTO supports our staff in many ways, including fundraising. It helps us send staff to conferences, give snacks during testing, and buy materials for our Specials teachers. Participating in fundraisers helps us do all of these things.

You can also use our Amazon wishlist to help stock the teacher’s lounge and some classroom supplies. – LINK COMING SOON.

Friday folder stuffing, handing out birthday books, volunteering for our Fill the BackPack program, etc. Anytime that you can offer help in the classroom, is always appreciated.

Save your receipts when you shop at our local Hays Market. Collect your receipts and PRE receives 1%back from the taxable value of everything purchased. You can send the receipts to school with your student.
